Greetings leaders of Wisconsin Reform Organizations,
If I missed an organization, please feel free to forward on (I do not have Richard Martin Jr’s address for example). I have Northern WI NORML, SE WI NORML, IMMLY, The Ben Masel Project, Dave T who set up the SW WI NORML page has agreed to help through that channel, Wisconsin ASA, Madison NORML and WI NORML.
We hope to gain your support in working towards putting up a billboard in the Waukesha/Brookfield/West Allis area, near districts of Sen Vukmir and Sen Lazich.
The primary goal is to put pressure on politicians who are against medical cannabis, and this is a very prominent spot for billboards, near two committee member districts. A secondary goal is to have residual effect on 2014 elections.
To achieve this goal, we are hoping to top $7500 through crowdfunding via http://rally.org, before Feb 1. We hope to run the billboard in the February timeframe for 4-6 weeks.
Ideally, we will be able to push this as all groups in Wisconsin. We are not asking that you give money although certainly we hope you will. We are asking if you will participate in an aggressive funding drive. If you agree, your logo and link to your page will appear on the rally.org fundraising page. You can also feel free to publicize on your website and also put media of the billboard there.
We will set up the rally.org page by December 15 if organizations are on board.
The billboard will be digital, present a picture of Lazich and Vukmir with text of “Who is stopping medical cannabis in Wisconsin? Sen Lazich is… Sen Vukmir is…” It will have reference to SB363 but we didn’t think a link would be necessary.

Board of Directors review by-laws for our chapter and make suggestions for any proposed changes in 2014.
Review National NORML Affiliate By Laws also and develop committee and procedure to and/or for::
Membership Reporting to National NORML and keeping better track of members, possible membership cards?
Working with National NORML to hold one joint event/fundraiser each year. (Perhaps all regional/city chapters in Wisconsin working on this project together)
